AMEYA + ZACHARY CREATIVE PORTRAITS

Ameya Okamoto + her partner’s creative couples portraits/boudoir taken in Chicago IL 2022. I met Ameya through Tiktok and she wanted their Creative Couples Photoshoot to be super different and also a boudoir theme. During location scouting/planning I found the rain room location on Peerspace and I knew it would be definitely be a great unique spot for the boudoir photos. The second location shifts gears into more of a relaxed, cozy vibe at her apartment featuring both their artistic mediums. He is playing a blue guitar and Ameya is sketching him with charcoals. One of my favorite shots is when I decided to shoot some double exposures in camera to mesh the two art styles into one frame.

When I create portraits with couples I always want to showcase their personalities and interests separately and how beautifully they come together.
